Every year Arundel Federal partners with local organizations in need. This Spring we’ve partnered with BKind, a local non-profit that provides food, clothing, and hygiene products to those less fortunate in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, and Baltimore County.
From April 1st – May 31st collection boxes will be in all Arundel Federal lobbies: Annapolis, Brooklyn, Glen Burnie, Pasadena, and Severna Park, for customers and the public to donate.
Items needed include:
- School supplies
- Infant, children’s men’s, and women’s gently used or new clothing
- Games for kids (Go Fish, Uno, Playdoh, Chalk, etc.)
- Infant supplies
- Towels and washcloths
You can view the complete list of items needed here.
Arundel Federal is proud to be a part of the local Maryland community and partner with organizations in need. Read more about other outreach efforts such as The Senior Dog Sanctuary, Annual Food Drive, Backpacks of Love, Holiday Toy Drives and more.
More ways to help: Every Saturday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. a group of BKind volunteers serve lunch and groceries-to-go in the parking lot behind Bruster’s Ice Cream on Aquahart Road in Glen Burnie. If you would like to volunteer to serve lunch on a Saturday, contact bkind.online@gmail.com.
BKind is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to provide food, clothing, and hygiene products to those less fortunate in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, and Baltimore County. They also connect individuals in need to available local resources that can provide the help they need, and break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, one individual and family at a time.
